Since its incorporation to Grupo Villar Mir in 1992, Ferroatlántica has developed its activity on the basis of two main points:
1) To be one of the most competitive industrial groups on an international level in the ferroalloy sector.
2)To pay special attention to our clients service as a key element to strengthen a long-term fruitful relationship.
With this perspective, and in a increasingly globalized market, in these few years, Ferroatlántica has changed from being a company with offices nationwide - three factories in Spain and 600 employees - to become a multinational Group with a clear spirit of leadership in its field worldwide.
Today all this is being possible thanks to the excellent operating behavior of the Group’s thirteen factories - located in three continents - and mainly, thanks to the daily effort of the more of two thousand people employed, including the Energy and Quartz Divisions.
Relying on innovation as the key element to achieve total quality in all our products and maintain high competitiveness levels in cost, Ferroatlántica contributes to the development of four essential sectors of industry such as the iron and steel sector, the aluminum sector, the silicones sector and the smelting sector.
